Bridging 2025 to 2026: Scaling TIP's Global Impact

As we move into 2026, the Telecom Infra Project is executing against its strategic priorities for the year ahead. The global industry calendar is already underway, including Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and TIP is entering the year with strong momentum and clear direction.


FYUZ 2025: Focused, High-Impact Collaboration

FYUZ 2025 was a success.  Coined as ‘small but mighty’ by some, FYUZ 2025 encapsulated the passion and drive of the TIP community.


Highlights:

  • 1,000+ attendees across three days

  • 35+ sponsors

  • 28 media and analyst participants

  • 35+ pieces of global media coverage

  • A broad technical agenda covering:

    • Network automation & orchestration

    • Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) and terrestrial deployments

    • Open Network APIs at scale

    • AI for Networks and Networks for AI

    • 6G innovation

    • Partner events including an Agentic AI Hackathon and joint demos with the IOWN Global Forum


TIP also launched the Video QoE Optimization Project Group, bringing together leading content application providers and telecom operators to improve quality of experience at scale.

TIP Board Priorities for 2026

Building on 2025’s progress, the TIP Board has finalized its 2026 priorities. The focus areas include:

  • Advancing AI-driven network innovation

  • Strengthening operator engagement globally

  • Expanding commercialization pathways

  • Accelerating interoperability and deployment

FYUZ 2026: Seattle

FYUZ 2026 will take place at The Westin Seattle in the first week of November 2026.

Planning is already underway:

What’s Ahead in 2026

The Open Optical & Packet Transport (OOPT) Project Group has already begun announcing early 2026 milestones.

A new Project Group aligned with TIP’s AI strategy will be announced soon, expanding the community’s technical scope.

Throughout the first half of 2026, Project Groups will:

  • Publish new deliverables

  • Launch technical initiatives

  • Highlight member deployments

  • Participate in major global industry events


Expect regular updates as these initiatives progress.
