FYUZ brings together companies working across cloud infrastructure, enterprise connectivity, optical transport, and wireless networks. Meet four sponsors supporting this year’s event and explore how their technology and community participation are helping move open networks into deployment.

Canonical

Open-source infrastructure for telecom and AI

Canonical, the company behind Ubuntu, provides open-source infrastructure for operators modernizing their networks and preparing for AI workloads. Its telecom portfolio spans operating systems, virtualization, container orchestration, and infrastructure management, giving operators modular building blocks for cloud-native networks, Open RAN, and edge deployments. The company’s work addresses practical requirements such as real-time performance, security maintenance, and managing infrastructure across distributed sites.

Canonical also collaborates with OpenAirInterface to advance open-source telecom infrastructure, contributing to the wider ecosystem developing interoperable alternatives for network operators. At FYUZ, meet its telco experts to discuss improving infrastructure agility, optimizing for AI, and translating open-source technology into operational networks.

RG Nets

Connecting open networking with service delivery and monetization

RG Nets develops gateway and network management technology that helps service providers, venues, and smart cities operate and monetize connectivity. Its Revenue Extraction Gateway (rXg) platform brings together policy control, multi-tenant orchestration, authentication, and billing integration, helping teams simplify complex environments and deliver differentiated network services.

Its connection to TIP’s OpenWiFi ecosystem is reflected in the platform itself: rXg integrates a native OpenWiFi controller, combining access point management, gateway functions, and policy enforcement in one platform. Support for secure onboarding, configuration, and telemetry provides practical tools for deploying and operating disaggregated wireless networks. At FYUZ, visit RG Nets for live demonstrations and discussions about deployment challenges, automation, and the business models behind modern connectivity.

1Finity, a Fujitsu company

Advancing open optical, wireless, and automated networks

1Finity, a Fujitsu company, combines expertise in open optical and wireless networking, network automation, and applied AI and machine learning. Its work spans the design, deployment, operation, and maintenance of communications infrastructure, supporting operators as they increase capacity and modernize network operations.

Within TIP, 1Finity is represented in the leadership of the Open Optical & Packet Transport (OOPT) Project Group through co-chair François Moore. OOPT brings operators, technology providers, and researchers together to develop open transport architectures, interfaces, and tools across optical and IP networks. This leadership role connects 1Finity’s transport expertise with community efforts to make disaggregated networks more practical to deploy. Meet the team at FYUZ to discuss open networking, automation, and evolving infrastructure requirements.

Airspan Networks

Building wireless connectivity and advancing shared infrastructure

Airspan Networks delivers infrastructure for operators, neutral-host providers, enterprises, and public-sector organizations. Its portfolio includes Digital DAS, indoor and outdoor small cells, Private 5G, Open RAN radios, fixed wireless, defense solutions, and air-to-ground connectivity. These technologies address coverage and capacity needs across public and private networks.

Airspan also contributes leadership to TIP’s OpenHOST Project Group through co-chair Shirish Nagaraj. OpenHOST brings together stakeholders across wireless and wireline infrastructure to advance shared, interoperable networks spanning fiber, small cells, DAS, and in-building connectivity. Airspan’s investment in Open RAN development also includes a $42.7 million NTIA grant supporting technology development in the United States.

At FYUZ, visit Booth 13 to explore Airspan’s solutions and meet its team, and join its Open RAN and shared-infrastructure panel sessions.
