WNC?s WSS3682 5G MEC Slim Server is designed for 5G edge networks, providing an open platform for 5G O-RAN, 5G private networks, and 5G MEC applications used in smart city, retail, manufacturing, autonomous vehicles, AR/VR and healthcare products. The server is a standalone MEC 1U server equipped with Intel?s 20-core Ice Lake-D HCC processor. It has a depth of 380 mm to support installation on EIA-19? racks and is especially suited for 19? rackmounts used by telcos. All I/O ports are located on the front side, and two PCle 4.0 FHFL expansion slots enable the installation of hardware acceleration cards to satisfy the everchanging requirements of 5G applications and mobile edge computing. WNC?s 5G MEC Slim Server uses a built-in time module and GPS to achieve time synchronization. It can serve as a 5G BBU and can also be used in SD-WAN and AI applications.
